McGill Community for Lifelong Learning (MCLL)

A guide to help MCLL members navigate McGill Library and discover resources to support their lifelong learning.

Search WorldCat Discovery

Search the Sofia Discovery tool for McGill's collection of resources: books, journals & articles, multimedia, and other resources, in both print or electronic format.

The McGill Library website is your portal to all of the collections and services offered by the branch libraries. There is a box in the middle of the page that allows you to search the catalogue, Sofia Discovery tool. You can bookmark Sofia to go directly to the catalogue, or use the search box above.

The Library has more than 6 million books and just over half of these are electronic books that are accessible from anywhere in the world. Also in the collection are journals, sound and video recordings, music scores and maps. You can discover these items on your own but I am available to answer your questions.

On this guide you will find links and instructions for finding books, periodicals (newspapers, magazines and journals), videos, and music.

Are you looking for health information online? I can recommend the library's Consumer Health guide as a place to start.
