McGill Community for Lifelong Learning (MCLL)

A guide to help MCLL members navigate McGill Library and discover resources to support their lifelong learning.

As of Monday, January 24, all Library branches, including stack areas, will be accessible to current McGill students, faculty, and staff. In-person reference and circulation services will resume across branches. As a result of this reopening, the HathiTrust Emergency Temporary Access Service, Pickup Service and Study Hubs will be discontinued. More information available here.

I am the liaison librarian for the McGill Community for Lifelong Learning (MCLL) and I invite you to contact me for help of any kind. You can also ask me about our virtual knitting club!

On this guide you will find information for MCLL members on borrowing physical items as well as how to gain access to electronic resources remotely, like e-books and online newspapers and magazines. Use the links organized under the menu headings on the left. There are also printable how-to PDFs throughout intended to walk you through using the tools.

Get started using the Library:

If you are looking for Library resources on a specific topic area, there are many other guides to explore from the Library on a broad range of topics.
