The Territoires récréatifis protégés database is produced by the Ministre des Ressources naturelles et de la Faune (Quebec). It is a cartographic database, for use in a GIS, that contains over 450 recreation and protect areas in Quebec. The areas are grouped into four categories: wildlife management areas (gestion de la faune), conservation and wildlife preserves (conservation et la protection de l’environnement et de la faune), forest research stations (l’enseignement et à la recherche forestière) and migratory bird sanctuaries (protection de la faune migratrice).
