Maps & Geospatial Data

Topographic maps of Africa, Asia, Oceania, Antarctica

McGill Libraries have a collection of international topographic maps of many countries throughout the world. Some of our maps are produced by the country's government maps service, whereas the other topographic maps are produced by the Army Map Service. The international topographic maps are located in grey map cabinets on the second floor of the McLennan Building in the Humanities and Social Sciences Library. They are organized by continent and, then, alphabetically by country name.

There are some map records in the Catalogue but the majority are not found in the Catalogue. The best way to find a topographic map in our collection is to contact Sharon Rankin for assistance, who will show you how to search for and retrieve the maps you need.
