The Quebec: A general portrait CD-ROM is officially entitled Le portrait général du Québec: Régions et MRC. This CD-ROM is part of the géoreference collection produced by the Photocartothèque Québécoise. This CD-ROM contains geospatial data that can be used to produced general maps and political maps of Quebec. The map layers included are: hydrography (lakes and rivers), hydrographic names, inhabited places and their place names, administrative region boundaries, and MRC (municipalités régionales de comté) boundaries. Data is available in ArcInfo coverage and MapInfo formats.
