Census Boundaries (DMTI)

The Census Boundaries files are originally produced by Statistics Canada and have been enhanced and realligned by DMTI to match up with the CanMap products. Census Boundary files are available for the 1996 Census and the 2001 Census. Census geography layers include: Census Metropolitan Areas, Census Agglomerations, Census Divisions, Census Subdivisions, Census Tracts, Enumeration Area (1996 census only), and Dissemination Areas (2001 Census only). It is recommended to use this with the dataset with Canada Base Map (DMTI).
