Dear McGill Community & Beyond,
We know you could probably find a lot of this information on your own, or perhaps you were already aware of the great virtual tools out there for entertainment, but we couldn't help ourselves. This situation is new and strange to all of us and so we hope within this guide that you will find a little something to brighten your day.
Our staff helped put together a few of our favourite things, some you will find in the McGill Library catalogue and others might just be our go-to podcasts, recipes, or Netflix binge recommendations. Whatever it is, we hope that you find the same enjoyment in these things as we have.
Until such time comes that we can put up another book display in the Redpath main floor hall, look for us here.
All the best & stay well,
We asked around to see what people would most want to learn if they had the time. Not only have we included the staff's answers, but we did our best to find a resource for them. Happy learning!
During this time of heightened anxiety it is good to practice self-care. Here are some resources our staff have recommended to do just that.
We are trying something new! If enough people vote, we will force* library staff to participate in a dramatic video montage explaining the plot for one of these great novels. It will be both inaccurate and of amateur quality. You're welcome internet.
We will have a video posted for you sometime this week. In the meantime, feel free to vote for another title!
* And by force we mean ask nicely.
