Getting started with NVivo

Hierarchy charts visualize patterns in your coding. You can also use hierarchy charts to view the attribute values of cases and files (e.g. view the demographic spread of the participants).

1. On the Explore tab, click Hierarchy Chart.
2. Choose what you would like to visualize.

3. Click Finish.

The hierarchy chart is generated and displayed in the Detail View. You can choose to display your data in a Treemap or a Sunburst (radial treemap)
