Getting started with NVivo

1. Display your codes in the List View.
2. Open the file to code in the Detail View.
3. Select the content you want to code and drag it onto the relevant code.

Tips: Alternatively, you can also code your content by using the right-click menu or the Quick Coding bar at the bottom of the Detail View.

To uncode content from a data file:

1. Open the file and select the content you want to uncode
2. From the Document tab, click Uncode. The Select Project Items dialog box appears

3. Select the code(s) you want to uncode from and click OK.

To uncode content from a code:

1. Open the code and select the content you want to uncode
2. From the Code tab, click Uncode From This Code
