In the course of carrying out their profession, musicians face a particular set of challenges related to maintaining physical, emotional, and mental well-being.
This guide provides resources to support musicians' health and wellness. It complements initiatives of the Schulich School of Music in this area, which are led by the Applied Performance Sciences Hub.

If you are unsure of the available resources and need advice, you are encouraged to reach out to the Student Affairs team (Studentaffairs.music@mcgill.ca), your Student Services Manager (Nancy.Czemmel@mcgill.ca), or the Associate Dean (Academic & Student Affairs) (ADASA.Music@mcgill.ca).
NOTE: The resources on this Library guide cannot replace the advice of a health professional who specializes in treating musicians. If you are experiencing pain or discomfort while playing or singing, please stop immediately and seek help.
