Firsthand is a career resources database (formerly known as Career Insider and Vault) that is useful for students looki
ng to examine perspective fields of employments. Firsthand contains articles, tips, rankings, and more!
You will need to create an account with Firsthand using your @mail.mcgill.ca email address in order to get access.
If you previously had a Vault account, you may need to select "no password yet" in order to reset your account with Firsthand.

How to use
After you have logged onto Firsthand you will be presented with a homepage of featured articles. On the lefthand menu there is an option to explore an article library, the Vault Law section, and the careers tab. You can also use the search bar to explore by different topics.
