International Development Studies at McGill University

International development studies at McGill University are mainly found in the Institute for the Study of International Development (ISID). The ISID focuses on the three following areas (see Research Clusters link for more information). 

  1. Poverty and Inequality
  2. Governance and Society
  3. Environment and Sustainability

The ISID also offers an undergraduate programme in Development studies as well as a graduate option at the master's level. See links below for more information. 

There also exists an active student association, the International Development Studies Students’ Association (IDSSA), that represents over a thousand students in international development studies at McGill University.
