Find articles, books, and learning opportunities in chemistry

As of September 1, most Library branches, including the stack areas, will be accessible to current McGill students, faculty, and staff. Visit the hours webpage for a full listing of opening and service hours.

Further to Quebec government and university directives, procedural masks will continue to be required in all Library branches. For more information, please visit Library services & spaces re-opening.

Welcome to the chemistry guide

Library orientation Fall 2021 presentation (PDF)

This guide is a good place to start if you are new to using library services, or if you have a project or paper to complete. I am available for help if you would like to make an appointment. If you are here exploring resources in chemistry, be sure to check out the learn online section to find free courses that may be of interest. There is also information on using the ACS style and downloading ChemOffice and EndNote below.

If you can't find the article or book you want in the collection, McGill students and staff may order material using COLOMBO (interlibrary loan). You can also email me (April) to suggest a purchase. We may be able to obtain a copy for the Library.
