Country reports & profiles

Country Profiles for Developing Nations (ELDIS) provides information and reports on agriculture, aid, economics, health, development, and education in developing countries.

Economist Intelligence Unit (EIU) Country Reports also issues quarterly reports including monthly updates of current and future trends of the political and economic structure, economic policy, domestic economy, foreign trade and payments of 200 countries among which 50 African countries.

Portals to the World, maintained by the Library of Congress, "contain selective links providing authoritative, in-depth information about the nations and other areas of the world. They are arranged by country or area with the links for each sorted into a wide range of broad categories. The links were selected by Area Specialists and other Library staff using Library of Congress selection criteria."

World Bank Country Profiles provide data, statistics and reports on many indicators, including debt, poverty, education, trade, finance, and development with a strong focus on economic information.
