Further to Quebec government and university directives, McGill campuses will be closed as of March 14. As a result, all library branches will be closed until May 1st. McGill University and Quebec provincial resources

McGill University services:

  • Empower Me. Mental Health Resources. Students covered by the SSMU Dental Plan have access to Empower Me—a mental health and wellness service that seeks to contribute to a resilient student community by supporting existing on-campus and Studentcare mental health resources.
  • First Peoples' House Student Support. Services for Indigenous students.
  • Local Wellness Advisor appointment booking - Law. For students registered at the Faculty of Law only.
  • Keep.meSAFE, a mental health counselling service offered to students in partnership with SSMU and PGSS, provides 24/7 access to licensed counsellors through telephone and mobile chat in more than 60 languages. To access this service, download the MySSP app in the Apple App Store or Google Play
  • Office of Religious and Spiritual Life. Your religious and spiritual hub on Campus.
  • Students Wellness Hub. The place for students to go for their holistic health and wellness needs. It provides access to basic physical and mental health services, as well as health promotion and peer support programs, in convenient locations at both our Macdonald and downtown campuses.

Quebec services:

  • AmiQuebec. Are you confused? Overwhelmed? Unsure where to turn or what to do next? AMIQuebec offers free programs and help.
  • Écoute Entraide. Vous traversez une période difficile, angoissante ou éprouvante ? Vous aimeriez partager ce que vous vivez avec une personne humaine et empathique ? Écoute Entraide offre un service d’écoute téléphonique et de référence pour tout le Québec. Les appels sont gratuits et confidentiels.
  • Suicide action Montreal. Services 24/7. Les services de SAM s’adressent aux personnes suicidaires, à leurs proches, aux personnes endeuillées par suicide et aux intervenants de la communauté
