Maps & geospatial data

McGill Library holds a large collection of maps, atlases, air photos, satellite imagery, and data, covering the greater Montreal region, the province of Quebec, Canada, and the rest of the world. This guide provides information about the location of each collection as well as details about how materials can be accessed or requested. Submit a request via the Geospatial Data Request Form to request licensed data that are not directly available from the Library website.

This guide provides resources for finding numeric datasets (e.g., microdata and aggregate data) and statistics. Email data.library@mcgill.ca for help to find what you need.

The Lab is open and available to users working with data who require the use of specialized data software.
