Archival Film & Moving Image Research in Architecture

Welcome!

This guide, created in support of a workshop for the Society of Architectural Historians, compiles resources relevant to historical research using moving images, with special attention to digitally available content. While created with architectural historians in mind, it will also likely be useful in broader research contexts. Most of the material listed here is openly available online.

The content of this guide will continue to evolve over time. If you're aware of any openly accessible resources that you feel would contribute, feel free to email me your suggestions using the contact information on the right.

Supplemental links

The resources below contain collections of broadly useful links. There is crossover with this guide, but there are a great many linked resources not covered here - they are all worth exploring in their own right.
