Love Data Week is an international celebration of data, with the goal of raising awareness and building a community to engage on topics such as research data management, sharing, preservation, reuse, dissemination, and library-based research data services. This year's events are based loosely on the theme “Data: Delivering a Better Future.” The hashtag is #LoveData21.
This year we are offering 12 workshops and events that encourage you to learn and reflect on data tools and practices. Join Shelley Miller and Dr. Joanna Merckx in our #CovidArt talk featuring the partnership between an artist and an epidemiologist to create an informative installation. Attend one of our very useful workshops on finding, discovering, and using data. Finally, discuss issues of access and power dynamics in our book and film discussion and a talk by our friends at Feminist and Accessible Publishing and Communication Technologies.
