In Fall 2019, Apple is releasing a new operating system, Catalina. This new operating system will be incompatible with EndNote at launch. EndNote is aware of the problem and is currently developing an update to solve this problem. The operating system and the EndNote update are not currently available, but to make the updating process easier, please ensure you are using the most current version of EndNote - EndNote X9.2.
To check what version of EndNote you are using:
If you are using EndNote X9 but not EndNote X9.2, please update. To update:
If you are using an older version of EndNote (such as EndNote X8 or earlier) you will need to install EndNote X9. To install EndNote X9, click on the Download for Mac button below. Once installed, you will want to check that you are using EndNote X9.2 using the steps above.
