We are highlighting the brilliant scholarly contribution of our University’s Black Faculty with this exhibit highlighting some of their best publications.

The Black McGill Authors display is curated by Antoine-Samuel Mauffette Alavo, the Black Student Affairs Liaison at McGill University. A physical version of this display will be up on the main floor of the Redpath Library during February 2043.

Land Acknowledgement

McGill University is located on land which has long served as a site of meeting and exchange amongst Indigenous peoples, including the Haudensaunee and Anishinabeg nations. McGill honours, recognizes and respects these nations as the traditional stewards of the lands and waters on which we meet today.
