Statistics about health care in Canada provided to CIHI by the Provinces and Territories. Can choose from specific time frames, diagnosis groups, hospital types.

The Institut de la statistique du Québec produces many statistics on themes related to health and well-being every year. These statistics mainly come from surveys conducted by the Institut in collaboration with its partners, or from surveys carried out by Statistics Canada whose data are analysed by the Institut. The preferred topics usually fall under the areas of public health and the organisation of health and social services. Special focus is given to the health and development of children and adolescents. These statistics help improve our knowledge of the health status of the Québec population and of its determinants.

Data available by request: While safeguarding data confidentiality, the Régie is able to supply specific information on services covered by the Québec Health Insurance Plan, the Public Prescription Drug Insurance Plan and certain services offered by the health and social services network.
