Media Literacy Week @ McGill: Home

Media Literacy Week is a nationwide initiative that highlights the importance of digital media literacy. Throughout the week, schools, libraries, museums, and community organizations across Canada host events and activities to foster critical engagement with media. As part of the celebration, we also mark Digital Citizen Day on October 29, a day dedicated to promoting responsible and thoughtful participation in our digital world.

This year we’re offering a variety of workshops that explore different aspects of media and digital literacy. From uncovering reliable statistics and demystifying artificial intelligence to tackling health disinformation and understanding how Wikipedia works, each session is designed to spark curiosity and build your media literacy skills.
