EBOSS (Epi/Biostats/Occupational Health Student Society) Workshop on Access to Health Data

This guide is intended as a portal to help students in EBOH discover and access datasets in support of coursework and research. The focus is on health data sources.

Data Lab

The Data Lab is located on the second floor of the Humanities and Social Sciences Library (McLennan building, Room M2-37A). The Lab is open and available to users working with data who require the use of specialized data software. There are fourteen workstations available. A list of the various software programs installed on the workstations is posted below.

Data librarians are available during scheduled Lab hours, or by appointment, to assist researchers discover, access and use numeric, spatial, text and other data formats. To schedule a consultation, please use the following address: data.library@mcgill.ca.

The Lab also hosts a series of data-related workshops. Workshop attendance is open to all students, faculty, and researchers.
